Risk Assessment of Pesticides
We conducted courses on pesticide risk assessment in Ethiopia, Tanzania, South Africa and Kenya. Courses assisted government, scientists and industry in good practice registration of pesticides. We included also interested public and farmers, to give them the tools to critically assess current risk assessment procedures in their country. These courses are available online as well.
ShambaJijini Online Summit
October 2021 we organised an Online Summit on Regenerative Urban Farming with +50 speakers and +1000 registered urbanites.
Urban Permaculture
We conduct regular short courses on urban permaculture in Kenya and Germany. The practical approach covers regenerative water management, soil health, creating biodiversity, pest control and social aspects of permaculture.
Currently we set up a demo-plot in Brandenburg, Germany to conduct trainings there and develop an online course for Kenya.
