Permagardens in Kismayo/ Baidoa

We assisted the team of IOM and GIZ to set up permagardens as demonstration plots. This also entailed a detailed training on how to overcome local challenges with local resources (soil alkalinity, water salinity, sandy soil). The permagardens are now growing a variety of vegetables, fruits and herb grown on land or vertically.
